Skills Program for Caregivers

The Skills Program for Caregivers aims to empower informal caregivers, family members, and close contacts who take on caregiving responsibilities with essential knowledge on health and well-being, promoting safe, humanized care centered on improving quality of life and promoting the autonomy of older people.

The impact of this program is reflected both in the senior person, through improved care and support received, and in the caregiver, who gains greater confidence and competence in carrying out their role.

The program can also be personalized, including a nutrition appointment with a food education session, as well as a functional assessment at the older person’s home and the development of an individualized rehabilitation program.
