With the start of the second semester, after the exam period, NOVA Medical School launches the myNMS application, a new digital tool that aims to centralise access to relevant information and services from the Faculty, contributing to a simpler, more practical and integrated academic experience throughout the semester.
Developed as part of a partnership between the Santander Foundation and NOVA University Lisbon, the app is available for Android and iOS systems. Access is granted using institutional credentials, simplifying the authentication process and ensuring greater integration between the different platforms used in everyday academic life.
The myNMS app provides direct access to Moodle, NetP@, weekly canteen menus, the Faculty's social networks, useful contacts, events, among other features and offers. The application also enables NOVA Medical School to communicate with students in a more agile and targeted manner, by sending notifications with alerts about events, deadlines, and other relevant information throughout the semester.
Signing up for the services and offers provided by the Santander Foundation is optional, and user data is only shared with express consent. Use of the app is free and independent of this sign-up, and it is accessible to all students at NOVA Medical School.
The launch of myNMS is part of NOVA Medical School strategy to strengthen digitalisation and proximity to its academic community, accompanying the return to teaching activities in the second semester and reaffirming its commitment to innovation, communication and continuous improvement of the services provided.
The application is in its first version and will be continuously updated, incorporating suggestions and contributions from users.
