We marked International Women's Day at NOVA Medical School | Faculty of Medical Sciences with a moment of gathering and reflection promoted by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
The program included the presentation of a video with testimonials from our community and a roundtable discussion on the role of inclusion in the academic and professional context.
Based on the idea that "inclusion is not a theme, but a culture of the organization," the conversation invited reflection on how silent expectations and biases can influence decisions, paths, and opportunities.
