SNS supported tests include rapid antigen tests, totally free for SNS users.

04-Feb-2022

The Chronic Diseases Research Centre of NOVA Medical School (CEDOC-NMS) of the NOVA University of Lisbon makes available, from today, February 1 2022, its diagnostic tests for COVID19, fully supported by the National Health Service (SNS).

At an important time in the control of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, NOVA Medical School has allied with SNS to continue to provide the community with quality in COVID19 testing and speed in the communication of results, within 24 hours at the latest in the case of PCR diagnostic tests, and up to 3 hours in the case of rapid antigen tests, fully reimbursed to all citizens.

The support of PCR diagnostic tests by SNS also includes PCR tests by saliva, and our task force can travel to schools or other institutions to carry out tests in a massive way. The rapid antigen tests are totally FREE for SNS users.

The collections are carried out at the CEDOC–NMS facilities (Rua Câmara Pestana, 6 1150-082 Lisbon), from Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 3 pm. The tests are carried out by appointment, preferably through an online appointment (https://testecovid19.masterinsoft.com/), and can also be carried out by telephone (910459769/215963300) on working days, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and at 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

All revenues generated by testing carried out at CEDOC-NMS continue to fund research at NOVA Medical School. Help us in the ongoing fight against the pandemic while supporting our scientific research.
