Gonçalo Figueiredo Augusto

Professor Professor Auxiliar Convidado

Professor Auxiliar convidado na Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública e na NOVA Medical School, da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, onde integra a equipa docente da Unidade Curricular “Saúde Pública e Epidemiologia”.

Formado em Medicina pela Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa (2011), mestre em Saúde Pública pela London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (2014), e doutorado em Saúde Internacional pelo Instituto de Higiene e Medicina Tropical da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (2020). 

Completou a especialidade em Saúde Pública em 2017, sendo Médico Assistente de Saúde Pública no ACES Oeste Sul (em regime de mobilidade). 

Desde 2016, integra a equipa portuguesa do Health Policy Monitor Network, do Observatório Europeu de Políticas e Sistemas de Saúde.

Entre 2017 e 2019 integrou a equipa de peritos do Conselho Nacional de Saúde. 

Entre 2019 e 2022 desempenhou funções de técnico especialista nos Gabinetes do Secretário de Estado da Saúde e Secretário de Estado Adjunto e da Saúde, no XXII Governo Constitucional. A partir de Março de 2023, desempenha as mesmas funções no Gabinete da Secretária de Estado da Promoção da Saúde, no XXIII Governo Constitucional. 

Adicionalmente, é consultor internacional, trabalhando em projectos da União Europeia, OMS e OMS Europa.
