Susana Santos Lopes

Investigador  Investigador Principal
Susana Santos Lopes is a developmental biologist who investigates cilia function during left-right determination and in ciliopathies of motile and immotile cilia. Lopes has a 6 years contract CEECIND (2019-2027) for Principal Investigator of the Cilia Regulation and Disease Laboratory at CEDOC-NOVA Medical School and Invited Assistant Professor at NOVA Medical School. In 2021 Lopes has 35 peer-reviewed publications and a h-index of 17. Lopes lab performs fundamental and translational research on cilia and ciliopathies and runs a service for Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia diagnostic.
