The director of NOVA Medical School, Helena Canhão, received the Reuméritus Award during the XXV Portuguese Congress of Rheumatology, organized by the Portuguese Society of Rheumatology.
The XXV Portuguese Congress of Rheumatology took place in the Algarve from October 25 to 28, 2023 and was attended by several important personalities in the field of rheumatology.
The Reuméritus Awards are presented annually by the Portuguese Society of Rheumatology with the aim of distinguishing personalities with an active role in the field and in the treatment of patients with rheumatic diseases. This year's award went to director Helena Canhão for her work in the field of rheumatology.
