On February 21, 2024, at 2 pm, in the Manuel Machado Macedo Auditorium, NOVA Medical School hosts the Commemorative Session of World Cancer Day, organized by the National Program for Oncological Diseases of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).
The session, in which the Dean of NOVA Medical School will participate, will address essential and cross-cutting topics in oncology, including national epidemiology, a comprehensive overview of population-based cancer screenings in Portugal, assessment of access to oncological surgery and the presentation of the National Strategy of Fight Against Cancer, Horizon 2030.
