The investiture Ceremony of the Governing Bodies of the AENMS for the 2024 Mandate took place on January 8th, at Sala dos Passos Perdidos.
It was in an atmosphere of celebration and emotion that the outgoing Management Team passed on the testimony to the new Management Team.
Maria Vaz, outgoing President, thanked her entire team for the hard work carried out during 2023 and wished good luck to her successor, the 5th year MIM student, Afonso Dias.
Representing the Governing Bodies of NOVA Medical Scholl was the Vice-Dean, President of the Pedagogical Council, Professor Nuno Neuparth, who reinforced the collaborative work that NMS intends to continue developing with the new Management team of AENMS.
Witnessing this passage were present entities such as the Secretary General of the Independent Union of Doctors, Dr. Jorge Roque da Cunha, the President of the Academic Federation of Lisbon, Catarina Ruivo and the Presidents of ANEM and ANEN, Rita Ribeiro and Maria Manuel Velosa, respectively.
The ceremony ended with the usual speech by the new President. Afonso Dias highlighted the joy and responsibility of representing a student Union that has done so much work on behalf of NMS medicine and nutrition students and reaffirmed the continuity of work, particularly in collaboration with NOVA Medical School.
NOVA Medical School wishes the new team all the success in this year of work and thanks all the work carried out by the outgoing team.
