Professor Ana Isabel Santos will participate tomorrow, June 28, in a session at the European Parliament on the use of animals in research.
This participation will be the only one by a Portuguese institution and will feature numerous authorities in the field of animal experimentation.
The session aims to discuss the European Parliament's September 2021 decision to rapidly transition to alternative methods to animal research in order to reduce, refine and replace the use of animal models as soon as scientifically possible.
