The research groups from Paula Macedo and Sílvia Conde made several presentations at the European Congress EASD 2022, which took place in Stockholm.
The 58th Annual Meeting of the European Society for the Study of Diabetes (EASD2022), which took place between 19 and 23 September in Sweden, had a strong representation of NMS Research, with presentations in several sessions by research groups Metabolic Diseases Research (MEDIR) and Neuronal Control of Metabolic Disturbances.
The Annual Meeting of the European Society for the Study of Diabetes brings together thousands of clinicians and researchers every year to present and discuss the latest advances in the field of diabetes. "The fact that NMS Research has a considerable entourage to participate and, mainly, to share work in this congress is a recognition of the quality of the research we do in the area of diabetes and metabolism" says Maria João Meneses, researcher present at the congress, continuing "when we presented our work, which was very well received, we had the opportunity to discuss with our peers and open the door to new collaborations".
