Presentation

The CLIC Programme is aimed at the certification of clinical researchers. The Programme was prepared and implemented on the assumption that it is extremely important to train and qualify the members of clinical research teams (clinical trials, observational studies and other clinical studies) in health institutions. This is the only way to achieve the level of excellence in Clinical Research that everyone desires.

The Programme strictly follows the European syllabus, published in March 2013. The syllabus was prepared by PharmaTrain - which is a European initiative for the qualification and standardisation of pharmaceutical medicine education - and by ECRIN (European Clinical Research Infrastructures Network) - which is a European network of infrastructures dedicated to clinical research, represented in Portugal by PtCRIN.

The CLIC Programme grants three levels of certification:

Level 1: Medical co-investigator and study centre staff
    Level 2: Principal Investigator
    Level 3: Promoter Investigator

Registration and Participation Rules

The Programme operates in an e-learning format. In addition to documents that can be printed or viewed on the computer, participants will find on the platform lectures recorded on video, which can be accessed at any time, thus making it compatible with the personal and professional life of health professionals.

To obtain certification, participants must pass an exam, after which the corresponding level certificate will be issued. Each lecture corresponds to a small "piece" of the "puzzle" that is the Certification Programme! There is no deadline for taking the exam. It will always be available on the platform and the trainee can take it when it suits him best.

The training is provided free of charge. However, obtaining the certificate implies the payment of the fee in force in the table of emoluments of the issuing institutions.

Participation implies obtaining access credentials to the CLIC Platform. To obtain the credentials, send an e-mail to clic@pharmaceutical-medicine.pt, indicating your: a) name, b) academic degree, c) profession, d) institution and e) e-mail address where you wish to receive the credentials.
