This will be a research center exploring the relationship between Health and Tourism: the benefits of tourism for mental and physical health, the development of health tourism programs (with courses, workshops, and activities in health and wellness, in partnership with hotels and natural resources in the municipality of Cascais), and investigating how tourism can be used to promote healthy lifestyles. This center will focus on developing new health technologies, such as mobile health applications, remote monitoring devices, and telemedicine solutions.
