The FLxFlow – Lisbon Flow Cytometry Network, which includes the Flow Cytometry Facility of NOVA Medical School, has officially become an Associated Society of ISAC – the International Society for the Advancement of Cytometry. This achievement marks a significant milestone, as FLxFlow is now the first exclusively Portuguese network to receive this status.
ISAC’s Associated Societies program aims to establish and strengthen formal collaborations with non-profit cytometry-focused societies at the regional, national, and international levels. FLxFlow’s inclusion in this global network underscores the scientific excellence and collaborative spirit that define the Lisbon Network, while also reflecting NOVA Medical School’s active role in advancing flow cytometry research and innovation.
This achievement not only raises the global visibility of Portuguese cytometry, but also opens new doors for collaboration, training, and knowledge exchange across the international scientific community.
