The 'One Health, One Soil: Safe Food on a Healthy Planet' conference will take place on 24 September 2025 from 10:00 to 12:00 in the Sala dos Atos at NOVA Medical School, Campo Mártires da Pátria 130, Lisbon.
This conference is the first in a series of three promoted by FoodLink – the Network for Food Transition in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. This network brings together around 40 institutional partners who are committed to transforming the metropolitan region's food system into a more sustainable, healthy and resilient model.
Organised by NOVA Medical School, the first session will explore the importance of soil in promoting human and environmental health, based on the One Health approach. The debate will highlight the connections between healthy soils, sustainable agricultural practices, nutritional quality, and food security.
