The 2025/2026 academic year marks a historic moment for NOVA Medical School, as it welcomes international students to its Integrated Master’s Degree in Medicine for the first time.
In Medicine, we welcome 11 students from 9 different nationalities – Brazil, Turkey, Israel, Angola, Egypt, Maldives, Nigeria, East Timor, and Zimbabwe – representing a wide cultural and academic diversity. They range in age from 17 to 32.
Six international students from Nepal, Congo, Angola, and Mozambique, aged between 18 and 22, have enrolled in the Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition Sciences.
The arrival of these 17 international students represents an important step in the internationalization of NOVA Medical School and reflects confidence in the quality of the education we provide. Their diverse backgrounds, languages, and experiences will undoubtedly enrich the academic community, fostering an even more plural, inclusive, and innovative environment.
