The Master in Medical Microbiology has the general objective of training specialists, in a global and multidisciplinary perspective, qualified with solid and integrated theoretical and practical training in the area of ​​Microbiology, with skills in the application of the most advanced laboratory diagnostic technologies, microbiological research and control and quality certification of microbiology laboratories.

Professional outings

Advanced training in Medical Microbiology will allow access to a scientific-technological development corresponding to the 3rd cycle (PhD). It can also provide access to research and development (R&D) areas in national or European public health sectors, namely in:

• Medical centers and hospitals.
• Clinical and veterinary laboratories.
• Public health.
• Research laboratories in the areas of Microbiology.
