NOVA Medical School partners once again with Ciência Viva to celebrate Science and Technology Week 2024. On November 19th, the doors of our School will open to welcome Secondary School students who want to explore the spaces, laboratories, and research projects that bring together biomedical and clinical researchers in pursuit of a common goal: the health for the future.

This is also a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the scientific process and its potential impact on the community.

Pre-registration required by November 18th via the Registration Form. This event will be held in Portuguese.

Escape Room - The Mystery of Discovery

Maximum number of registrations: 50 participants

In this immersive experience, participants will find themselves inside laboratories and other spaces at NOVA Medical School, where intriguing puzzles, hidden clues, and scientific challenges await. Logical reasoning, teamwork, creativity, and plenty of fun will be essential to solving all the puzzles and escaping each laboratory before time runs out!

Let’s Talk About Diabetes

Number of registrations limited to available space. This innitiative is open to NOVA Medical School's community without the need of prior registration.

The final challenge of the Escape Room leads participants to a conversation that brings together young researchers and people with diabetes. The goal is to create an informal space for sharing different perspectives with a common objective: promoting health literacy in the field of Diabetes, raising awareness about the importance of scientific research, and highlighting significant scientific and technological advancements in this area. This part of the program is also part of the celebrations for World Diabetes Day (November 14th).
