On September 25, 2025, from 09:30 to 13:00, the International Lusophone Symposium “Regulatory and procedural harmonization for Clinical Trials in Lusophone countries: is it possible?” will take place at the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society, in Lisbon.
Part of the CT-Luso Project, in which NOVA Medical School is a partner institution, this event aims to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of cooperation among Portuguese-speaking countries in the field of clinical trials.
Confirmed speakers include institutional representatives from Portugal, Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, and São Tomé and Príncipe, as well as a roundtable with Lusophone Ambassadors accredited in Lisbon.
The program also includes the inauguration of the exhibition "Sentidos da África Lusófona" (“Senses of Lusophone Africa”), celebrating the cultures and traditions of the PALOP countries.
Participation is free, upon prior registration, and the event will also be live streamed, with access reserved for Lusophone countries.
