On May 10 and 11, NOVA Medical School opened its doors to welcome around 300 visitors for the 14th edition of Open House Lisboa.
Throughout the weekend, 13 guided tours showed the school's Noble Spaces and, in some sessions, also the historic Anatomical Theater, where it was possible to share with the public the work of the Cadaver Donation Office, a topic that aroused great interest and curiosity.
The success of this initiative was possible thanks to the commitment and enthusiasm of NOVA Medical School students Miguel Tedéu, Tiago Fernandes and Leonor Pires, who led the visits and brought the school's history to life
Collaboration with the Open House Lisboa team of volunteers was also essential to ensure an organized and welcoming experience for all participants.
More than just showing off NOVA Medical School's heritage, this participation reinforced the institution's connection to the city and the community, bringing medicine, science and history closer to everyone who visited.
