PAS GRAS project has its kick-off meeting

Horizon Europe project, led by Universidade de Coimbra and with strong participation by NMS, had its kick off meeting on the 29th and 30th of June.

"PAS GRAS: demystifying the metabolic, environmental and behavioral determinants of obesity in children, adolescents and young adults" had its kick-off meeting in Coimbra with all its partners present, including NOVA Medical School researchers presenting their role in this international project.

Both Sílvia Conde and Maria Paula Macedo, principal investigators at NMS, gave talks regarding how their research will benefit this innovative project involving obesity in young people, and other lab members, post-doctoral researchers Joana Sacramento and Maria João Meneses, were also present at Cólegio da Trindade to witness the first event of this ambitious endeavour. 

The PAS GRAS project is led by Paulo Oliveira from CNC Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology from Universidade de Coimbra and, besides NMS, includes partners from:
