This event will bring together for the first time NMS students of Medicine and Nutrition and the NMS Research community with the aim of presenting the reality of current biomedical and clinical research and promoting the participation of NMS undergraduate students in scientific internships.
This event organized by AENMS and PhD Students Committee, has the support of the NMS Board and aims to present the reality of biomedical and clinical research to students of the Integrated Master Degree in Medicine and students of the Bachelor´s Degree in Nutrition Sciences.
The event will feature speakers with different profiles, from biomedical researchers, to medical doctors, and also former NMS students who participated in the PIATI internships - Program for the Integration of Students in Research. The main focus of this session will be to establish an informal conversation, open to questions from the audience about biomedical and clinical research. This questions will be addressed, during the round table, by the speakers of the event, according to their personal experiences and opinions.
Additionally, there will be a pitch session in which proposals for research internships will be presented for students interested in participating in the PIATI program in the future.
The event will culminate in a moment of informal conversation between all attendes during the coffee break.
